Like most calatheas, Freddie will adjust its position with its circadian rhythm, folding its leaves up at night and dropping them back down during the day. A light green variety with darker green zebra stripes on the tops of the leaves and along the outer edges. Safe for pets!
Care
Light: medium to bright indirect
Water: Calathea plants like moist soil but not overly saturated. Never let the soil dry out completely. Instead, let just the top of the soil dry out before watering. High humidity is ideal; mist or keep near a humidifier. If edges turn brownish-yellow this is likely due to tap water; use distilled, reverse osmosis, or rain water instead.
