An unusual Agave with narrow foliage that twists back towards the ground, Octopus Agave looks like it's walking on tentacles like an octopus. The spineless leaves have yellow and green striations and are deeply furrowed. Unlike other Agave, this one tends not to produce suckers or pups around the base of the plant; in nature it propagates just by seed after it blooms, which happens only once in the plant's lifetime around 10 years old.
Potted in a 6" container.
