  • An unusual Agave with narrow foliage that twists back towards the ground, Octopus Agave looks like it's walking on tentacles like an octopus. The spineless leaves have yellow and green striations and are deeply furrowed. Unlike other Agave, this one tends not to produce suckers or pups around the base of the plant; in nature it propagates just by seed after it blooms, which happens only once in the plant's lifetime around 10 years old.

    Potted in a 6" container.

    Bright light to direct sun
Only water when totally dry; about once every 2-3 weeks, depending on conditions
    Cactus soil with added perlite
    Toxic to cats and dogs
