  • A unique caudiciform with a textured caudex that reminds us of a volcano with lava running down it. This plant produces yellow flowers when in bloom and bright orange teardrop-shaped fruit, and like some other caudiciforms, it goes dormant during the hottest summer months. Protect the caudex from direct sun to avoid overexposure. It may lose its leaves for 3-4 months during the winter. Keep the plant warm and dry and new growth should emerge in the spring.

    Potted in a 6" container.

    Bright, indirect light
Only water when totally dry (every 2-3 weeks, depending on conditions). Don't water when the plant loses leaves in winter.
    Cactus soil with added perlite
    Toxic to cats and dogs
