  • Culinary cilantro, potted in a 4" container. Cilantro is grown for its aromatic, pungent-citrusy-peppery foliage and stems and can be grown indoors as well outside as an annual herb. Relatively fast-growing and easy to maintain in spring and fall; during hot Kansas summers, it tends to need a bit more tending so that it doesn't get overheated or bolt too early.

Outdoors: sun/shade mix; avoid direct noon sun. Indoors: full sun 4-5 hours per day.

Outdoors: keep moist but not soaked. Indoors: water when topsoil is dry to the touch; about 2-3 times per week. Do not leave in standing water.

Outdoors: neutral ph and well-drained soil. Indoors: tropical potting mix with perlite; feed with 20-20-20 fertilizer once or twice a month.
Not toxic to cats and dogs
