Matucana-madisoniorum, 6"

A small globular blue-green cactus that resembles peyote, with a flattened spherical shape, hump-like ribs, and wooly areoles. Some plants are spineless, while others may be partially or fully covered in longer spines. Blooms with a single flower that starts as a fuzzy grey ball at the crown and then opens to an elongated florescent red/orange bloom. Can flower repeatedly year-round under the right conditions. Mature plants can reach 15cm tall.

Potted in a 6" container.
