Marimo moss ball (approx. 1.5”) in a glass jar with lid. Marimo are naturally occurring algea growths that form at the bottom of certain lakes in Japan and Europe. Very slow growing, they can live for incredibly long periods of time, and are often kept as ornamental plants, as “pets,” or in fish aquariums to help naturally filter the water.
Keep away from direct light. Once a week, remove marimo from container, squeeze, and rinse under running water. Return to new water in your container.
