Portulaca molokiniensis is a rare Hawaiian succulent that’s listed as an endangered species in its indigenous environment. These plants have adapted to grow on the dry leeward (rain shadow) side of volcanoes and require loose soil and dry growing conditions. When mature, the plant has a vining habit, and the stems may thicken to form a caudex.
Potted in a 2” pot.
Bright light to direct sun. Only water when soil is totally dry. (Once every 3-4 weeks.) Cacti soil with added perlite.
