    • Similar in appearance to a jade plant, Portulacaria afra is a shrubby succulent with deep red stems and small green and white succulent leaves. You can prune to maintain a bushy shape or allow to grow and eventually cascade over the side of the container. Easy to propagate from stem cuttings or leaves.

    Bright indirect to direct light
    Allow to dry out between waterings; about once a month
    Cactus soil with added perlite
    Not toxic to cats and dogs
