Staghorn Fern, 12'' mounted

Staghorn ferns, like orchids and bromeliads, are epiphytes, meaning they prefer to grow off the sides of trees. These ferns are mounted to a 12” wooden board, which mimics their natural habitat and fosters better growth.

Hang in a spot with bright, natural light but no direct sun. Water weekly by running the entire mount under a faucet or shower with room temperature water. The moss should stay consistently moist but not soggy. Prefers high humidity; put it near a humidifier or grow in a bathroom. Do not remove any brown shields.
