Seed Starting Guide

1. Make sure you’ve got all your supplies:

   • Soil (our tropical mix is perfect for seed starting!)

   • Pot/container (this is a great opportunity to use those takeout containers you’ve been holding onto)

   • Saran wrap/clear lid

   • Seeds

   • Spray bottle/mister/watering can

   • Grow light/very strong source of light

   • Optional: seed mat

2. Start with a pot/container of soil

3. Sow (spread) your seeds according to the seed packet’s depth instructions

4. Cover with soil according to the instruction on the seed packet

5. Spray or mist until soil is evenly moist

6. Cover with saran wrap or clear lid to lock in humidity

7. Place in a very bright spot (bonus if that spot has warmth) or right under a grow light

8. Toss a seed mat under the pot if you’re feeling extra fancy. Warmth will help your seeds germinate.

9. Check on your seeds daily and be patient!
