Our goal is to set you up for success on your plant parenthood journey. Here's our general return policy, but we encourage you to reach out with questions or concerns at any time.
Store ReturnsPlant returns must be initiated within 48 hours of purchase in original container and condition. Non-plant items such as pots and decor must be returned in the same condition they were sold in with no alterations (exception: in-store drilling) within 30 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. We cannot refund the following items: Sale items, such as sale plants and damaged sale pots Soil and other media Gift cards Workshops |
ShippingIn the event that your purchase arrives damaged, please contact us within 10 days at [email protected] and let us know what went wrong. Note that some plants can react to shipping by temporarily showing signs of stress, and we may recommend that you wait for a few days to see if the plant bounces back before taking further steps. During winter, we'll add a heat pack to your shipment automatically if our regional weather requires it and we'll do our best to research the local weather at your destination when determining whether a heat pack is needed. If you know that it will be cold where you live, it never hurts to remind us in the order notes. We do our best to avoid cold damage, but we can't guarantee cold weather shipping as we can't always predict shipping delays and weather patterns. Please reach out to us if you suspect cold damage and we'll determine next steps on a case by case basis. Certain plants are designated "ships at your own risk." These are plants that often get stressed during shipping but usually bounce back later. If you see that language in the product description, note that we will package the plant carefully but we don't assume responsibility for the condition of the plant on arrival.
