Cactus-Holiday, 2"

Holiday cactus are epiphytic plants (meaning they grow up the sides of trees in their natural environment) that under natural conditions will bloom right around the holidays they are named for. Most originate in Brazilian rainforests or some come from drier forests. Holiday cactus can't take as much sunlight as desert cactus (no direct sun on these) and require 14 hours of darkness per day from October through November to see blooms in December through March.

Blooms are white, orange, pink, purple, and red. We'll choose the best looking plant available at the time when you place your order. If you have a specific request for bloom color, let us know in the order notes and we'll try to find the best match with what we have in stock. Note that we can't guarantee a specific color will be in stock when you order and occasionally, we won't know what color blooms a plant will produce if it's not already in bud.

Potted in a 2" container.

	Bright, indirect light. Move to darker, cool location for two months from October-November.
	Allow to dry out between waterings (every 2-3 weeks, depending on conditions). Prefers humidity.
	Cactus soil. Fertilize in spring after blooms fade. Stop fertilizing in October.
	Not toxic to cats and dogs
