Citrus Kaffir Lime, 12"

Kaffir lime fruit-bearing tree in a 12" pot. Dark green foliage and fragrant white blooms. The flowers smell like jasmine when they bloom, followed by medium sized green fruits. However, this plant is usually harvested for leaves rather than fruit, as the fruit has an overwhelming citrus taste when fresh. Other culinary uses include use of the rind and zest, and occasionally candying the whole fruit.

Potted in a 12" container.

	Water when top 1" of soil is beginning to feel dry (sometimes multiple times a week in growing season, once a week or so in winter)
	Tropical soil; requires nitrogen-rich fertilizer in growing season
