    • A weirdo caudiciform, Dioscorea elephantipes is a climbing plant with fissured, elephant-foot-like trunk. This plant drops all its leaves in the spring to conserve energy during hot summer months.

    Potted in a 4" container.

    Bright light
    Water the plant around the edges of the pot and not directly on the tuber. Allow the soil to become nearly dry before watering again. Be careful not to overwater. Do not water when the plant has no leaves.
