Fern-Assorted Footed, 6"

Featuring rhizomes that grow on top of the soil, footed ferns have adapted to growing conditions with very little in their natural environments. They can be epiphytic or terrestrial and they thrive in humid environments, storing excess moisture in their rhizomes to tide them over during short dry spells. Footed ferns are often found potted in a hanging basket or shallow pot where their "feet" can creep and trail out of the pot. Tip: Make sure not to bury the rhizomes, as that can lead to rot.

Potted in a 6" container.
