Lemon Grass, 4"

Surprisingly easy to grow indoors, culinary lemongrass will continue to regenerate new shoots after mature ones are harvested. Grows as tall pale arching grass blades with woody round canes at the base. Will grow quite tall (4-5') if left unharvested. You can start harvesting lemongrass whenever the shoots are 12" long, although you can also take a microgreen approach and harvest delicate plants whenever the plants have 2-4 leaves. Harvest often to encourage more vigorous growth.

Potted in a 4" container.

	Full sun, such as a south-facing window. Keep plant away from cold drafts.
	Keep consistently moist but not soggy; approximately every 3 days or so, depending on conditions
	Tropical soil with added perlite. Add nitrogen fertilizer once or twice a month.
	Toxic to cats and dogs; nontoxic to humans
