Lotus Berthelotii Parrot's Beak

Related to bean plants, Lotus berthelotii is a trailing plant with soft, silvery, needle-shaped leaves. Often grown as an annual in outdoor containers and hanging baskets for its brightly colored beak-shaped upright flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies; but can be adapted to indoor gardening as well. Outdoors, it is more likely to flower in spring and fall; during the warmest summer months the plant will stop flowering when nighttime temperatures remain too high.

Potted in a 4" container.
