  • Details
  • An extremely drought-tolerant shrub native to Texas and the southwestern US and northern Mexico, Texas Sage Bush has silvery green foliage and eventually reaches up to 6' at maturity. Not a perennial plant in Kansas, this one will need to be overwintered indoors in a spot that receives at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight. Would prefer to be outdoors in direct sun in the summer, and may bloom with glorious bright pink or purple flowers in a sudden flush after a heavy rain. Most likely won't flower if kept indoors.

    Potted in a 10" container.

    Bright direct light/full sun
Allow to dry out between waterings; about once every 2-3 weeks. Cut back watering to once or twice each winter.
Cactus soil with added perlite. Do not fertilize.
Not toxic to cats and dogs
